David Woog, MD
My interests in biological science and the human body date back as far as I can remember and have been enriched by the many educational and professional opportunities available to me. Attending medical school at the Universidad de Monterrey, Mexico, provided a view of life and learning with a different cultural background, which was later enriched by an international faculty of physicians during my residency in Anesthesiology at New York Medical College. My board certifications and many years in practice have provided experience in areas of specialty care in anesthesiology and in pain management and have included a faculty appointment at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. I have learned the value of tailoring each individual care plan to minimize the effects of pain on a patient’s quality of life by incorporating a multidisciplinary approach to functional improvement. My other interests and passion are in food and cooking, as explored in my culinary school and restaurant experiences. Let me know what you love to cook and eat!
