Lisa Remedios, MD

Dr. Remedios is originally from Oakland, California. She earned her undergraduate degree from UC San Diego, where she studied Biology and French Literature. She then attended the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis and completed her OB/GYN residency training at UT Southwestern Medical Center/Parkland Hospital in Dallas. Dr. Remedios spent over a decade in private practice in Dallas before shifting her focus to education. She has served as clinical faculty at both UT Southwestern and Dartmouth Health and contributed to UWorld by writing USMLE test questions to help medical students and residents prepare for their board examinations. In 2023, Dr. Remedios relocated to Santa Fe to join Nexus Health, and she now considers New Mexico her home. She is passionate about women’s health and has been performing DaVinci robotic surgery since 2011.
