David Rosen, MD
Dr. Rosen is a seasoned emergency medicine physician with more than two decades of experience. He has clinical interest in trauma, neurologic emergencies, musculoskeletal medicine/orthopedics, emergency cardiac/stroke care, chronic pain and mental health issues.
He received his medical degree at the University of Rochester School of Medicine, completed emergency medicine residency at Drexel/Hahnemann University and is board-certified in emergency medicine. He graduated from Columbia University with a dual master’s degree in public health and public policy.
Over the past 15 years, Dr. Rosen has served his community in the following capacities: medical director, Christus St. Vincent’s Regional Medical Center Emergency Department; member, State Stroke Advisory Committee; medical director of Careflight 5, New Mexico State SWAT Team, 911 Call Center, Santa Fe Community College Emergency Medicine Services Institute, Santa Fe City Fire Department, Santa Fe County Fire Department and Los Alamos Fire Department.
Currently, Dr. Rosen is the executive director of New Mexico Alive, a nonprofit whose mission is to improve out-of-hospital cardiac arrest survival rates in northern New Mexico. He is the medical director/owner of Blue Sky Ketamine, a clinic for mental health/wellness and chronic pain treatment. Dr. Rosen is also a certified acupuncturist and sits on the board of the Neuro-Acupuncture Institute in Santa Fe.
With Nexus Health, Dr. Rosen will focus on personalized preventive medicine, with an emphasis on epigenetics—assisting clients to make choices to help identify and reverse factors that contribute to chronic disease and optimize their health.
