This new facility provides Santa Fe with expanded healthcare services and robust treatment options all in one place.
Santa Fe, NM — Sept. 9, 2024 – Nexus Health, a multispecialty healthcare practice delivering patient-centric care in Northern New Mexico, is excited to officially open its new innovative, multispecialty healthcare clinic, located at 4200 Beckner Road in Santa Fe. This new facility is designed to put patients at the center of their healthcare, providing them with comprehensive high-quality care all in one state-of-the-art setting.
“We’re committed to bringing a new approach to healthcare to the community here in New Mexico, by offering a unique, patient-centric and cost-effective approach that the traditional hospital system model doesn’t dictate,” says Dr. Scott Herbert, MD, president, Nexus Health. “Our providers are committed to caring for the patients of New Mexico by offering a new leading-edge facility where our patients can receive thorough care from a committed team of expert physicians.”
This new approach to healthcare is a pivotal change for the community as it will offer a new standard of healthcare that is accessible and affordable. The physicians at Nexus Health provide a different type of care—focused on the relationship with their patients—looking at care from all angles and enabling patients to receive a truly personalized approach.
“This clinic marks a real advancement for our community’s healthcare services, enhancing access to quality care and welcoming in new providers,” says Representative Szczepanski. “I am really encouraged by the commitment Nexus has shown to providing practitioners with agency over their own practice, reducing patient wait times, and improving local health outcomes in Northern New Mexico.
The new facility will offer a variety of healthcare specialties all in one centralized setting, specialties will include breast surgery, dermatology, interventional pain medicine, medical oncology, radiation oncology, orthopedic surgery, primary care, family medicine, ear, nose and throat, concierge medicine and more. Additionally, Nexus Health will provide New Mexicans access to a robust clinical trials program through its partnership with Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI), one of the world’s leading oncology research organizations conducting community-based clinical trials. This collaboration will connect New Mexicans suffering from cancer to a broader range of care treatment options, especially those who have a higher-stage diagnosis.
“This is a great addition to the healthcare landscape in Santa Fe. Access to quality healthcare that is patient-centric is essential for the well-being of our local and surrounding communities,” says Senator Stefanics. I am proud to support the Nexus Health team and this new facility.”
Nexus Health has begun treating patients at its new facility, with the intent to fully open its doors in late September after the official ribbon-cutting ceremony.
